Delete Your Account

How to request deletion

Snippet doesn't yet have a self-service "delete my account" button in the app. To request deletion, email us from the address registered on your account:

Include the email address your Snippet account is registered under, and whether you're a fur parent or a professional. We'll confirm your identity against that email before acting on the request.

What gets deleted

Once verified, we permanently delete:

• Your profile (name, contact details, photo)
• Your pets' profiles and records (medical records, vaccinations, insurance, passport documents), if you're a fur parent
• Your professional profile, license information, and service listings, if you're a professional

Some information is kept after deletion where we're legally required to, or where it no longer identifies you:

• Booking and payment records tied to completed transactions, retained for standard financial record-keeping periods
• Reviews you've written may remain visible with your name removed, since they describe another user's service rather than your own data

How long it takes

We process deletion requests within 30 days of confirming your identity.
